It is weird and I do wonder what he sees in me. He is sweet and affectionate and I am happy enjoy that for now and see where things lead.
Women who have been left for another woman describe the experience in extreme terms: Stella, sixty-two, whose husband left her for someone else after thirty-three years of marriage was typical: “ I cried every day for two months. I still cry two years later. And railed and screamed in the car and burned his suit in effigy in the backyard, every witchy, crazy, demented thing you can think of.
Hi, I just met this guy and as soon as he saw me couldn t keep his eyes off me. We flirted and I eventually got his number. He s attractive looking and is very nice, The next day we talked on the phone & I was shocked when he told me he s 67 going on 68 in 9 mths, imediately I felt disappointed. I told him I just turned 75 two mths ago. I told him that I m looking for a good guy to treat me good and he told me You just found that guy. I can t stop thinking about him and all I think about is the age gap. On top of it all I don t even look my age, I look like I m 69 & I always have to show my ID at places because no one believes I m 75. What should I do?
i am normally fine with talking to men but a guy i see around at my work place has given me a strange feeling..i am so in awe of him that i cannot even speak to him! i am madly into him and from what i have heard he sounds like a very nice man. how do i go about talking to someone i can barely look in the eye without going all 8766 goey 8767 ?
Ever heard of the saying that love is blind? He was furious I ran off and was frantically searching for me. I blackmailed my kids to cut off their allowances if they revealed my whereabouts. When I came back he was at my home, ranting away at me. He said a lot of things and I said a lot of things too. He walked off in a huff and we stayed out of touch for a month.
Currently I co-run a longitudinal study of marriage and family development, started in 7558 and ongoing, and the answers couples gave me about their engagement ranged from several months to several years. On average, the couples in my study decided to marry years after they first showed romantic interest (many couples knew each other before they dated, but that isn 8767 t counted). This may reflect growing trends in the delay of marriage. Much has changed in the last thirty years, and those in my study are still reporting general satisfaction in their marriages. There is actually a lower divorce rate now than in the 85s, and what marriage means on a societal level is also changing. Only time will tell how modern marriages are growing and changing from those started long ago.
That 8767 s true. It is our culture. But in choosing a partner, we choose the person because we love / cared him or her. Right?
My thinking is we only live once. IF two consenting adults regardless of age, want to enjoy one another 8767 s company, may they do so and at the end of the day, it is between them only and no one 8767 s business. Sometimes I think we (including me) over analyze the older men life and one another! -Leana
What I wasn&rsquo t expecting however, and if could get some opinions on these I would very much appreciate, was that I have observed some signs that appear to suggest that she may in fact like me aswell.
