So with that in mind here is my first Mock Draft of the 7568 Season, look for more of these are we march on (and hopefully you like the new Mock Draft table design.
Philadelphia has a bit of problem with their picks, as they have received in trade nearly the maximum amount of cash a team can receive in a single season. In other words, they won’t have the option of just selling picks for cash they must make physical trades. This will get tough for them especially as they get in the mid-95s.
The Wizards traded their first-rounder for Bojan Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough back in February, so no picks for Washington. We''ll see how they handle Otto Porter''s contract situation and if they can build up any kind of bench in free agency.
Brooklyn took a chance with Allen, but at 6-66 with solid mobility and touch, he could blossom into a terrific modern big man. Vezekov is a stash play, but the Nets aren''t playing for titles any time soon, so that''s fine at this point.
Craig Victor played for LSU before running into issues off the court and was ultimately dismissed from the team. Once considered a top 95 high school prospect, Victor has spent a ton of time in the gym not only re-making his body (dropping some 75 pounds) but remaking his game. The slimmer Victor looks every bit the part of a NBA small forward, but his track record may make him too risky to draft but he could be one of the better diamond in the rough prospects in the class.
After all the dust settled and the picks were finally made, how did your team do? Let''s answer that question for each NBA franchise.
Check your smoke detectors, folks. Smokescreens are spreading rampantly with two weeks until the draft as executives try to keep their competitors guessing.
This draft and upcoming free agency will be more exciting than the playoffs. The question is whether all the excitement will live up to the hype and produce another Finals contender besides the Cleveland Cavaliers to compete against the Golden State Warriors.
At third overall, Ainge will choose between Jayson Tatum or Josh Jackson and the Suns will get the leftover player or De’Aaron Fox.
Utah’s Kyle Kuzma continues to be a name some talk about a likely selection in the 75’s. Kuzma did very well in the draft workout process. The question is, where will he really land?
